Serious misconduct is a specific act of very serious wrongdoing and improper behaviour that is inimical to the image of the Jubilee Fellows Program and which can be investigated and, if proven, may lead to dismissal.
Disciplinary measures may take one or more of the following forms only:

Disciplinary measures may take one or more of the following forms only:
- Suspension without pay for a specified period
- Dismissal
- Written or oral reprimand
Serious acts of misconduct include
- Falsification of records
- Conviction on a criminal charge (other than a minor traffic or sanitary offence or the like)
- Absence from duty without leave
- Unauthorized disclosure of official information
- Any form of Negotiation with the Host organization involving the exchange of money for favour
- Bribery
- Corruption
- Embezzlement
- Misappropriation
- Action prejudicial to the security of the State
- Advance Fee Fraud (Criminal Code 419)
- Employment in other full-time paid jobs
- Sabotage
- Wilful damage to Host organization property
- Sexual Harassment
- Sexual exploitation and abuse
Fines
- No fine shall be imposed on any fellow as a punishment for an offence committed in the course of his/her duties.
Procedure
- The disciplinary procedure for serious misconduct shall be in accordance with the grievance mechanism rules of the NJFP.
